VOICES
Braid is a three-woman poetry performance group based in Bristol. We are united by a shared passion for words and storytelling, bringing together perspectives from three generations.
Braid is a Bristol-based poetry performance trio: Kaycee Hill, Kate Noakes and Elizabeth Parker. We
are widely published poets and have multiple performing credits to our names.
We weave our words and voices into thematic readings. For 2025 and 2026 our poetry shows are one
of two: The New Nature of Flight, and Our Sonic Inheritances. If you have another topic in mind,
please ask.
We offer different types of performance: full readings, with or without guests, which we often organize
ourselves, and readings at poetry nights (shorter, if necessary). We also offer generative writing
workshops on a variety of themes lead by all or some of us, and including short readings, if desired.
